The County Foundation is pleased to announce a grants program funded by the Jack and Ruby Lockyer Ward Fund that was established in 2015.  Each year the fund will award up to $5,000, to a Prince Edward County entity to support a program or project that is intended to advance the quality of life of the people who live and work in The County.  More than one project might be considered.  The award, which is not intended to supplement general revenues, will be adjudicated by The County Foundation’s pool of grants committee members. 

Program and Projects in the following grant focus areas will be considered:

  • Health and Human Services
  • Arts and Culture
  • Sports and Recreation
  • Vital Signs Priority Areas as articulated in the 2013 Vital Signs Report available on The County Foundation website
