2018 Municipal Community Grants
Program is Open for Applications
Grants are available to non-profit and community-based organizations for projects which enhance the County’s quality of place and the local economy.
Grants up to $5,000 in cash and in-kind are available through The County Foundation (TCF). TCF will also manage grant applications for $1,000 or
less – in-kind only.

TCF is seeking Grants Committee Members
The County Foundation is seeking citizens willing to become part of a pool of Grants Committee members to assist from time to time with TCF Grants programs for Funds administered by The County Foundation.
For a grants program, the time commitment would be typically a half-day meeting with a half day of preparation and follow-up. Meetings will be during the business day. The Grants Committee is supported by The County Foundation Board and Executive Director.
Ideal candidates would have experience and interest in one or more of the following target areas: Arts; Culture; Heritage;

The County Foundation announces Food Security Project Funding
PEC – September 5, 2017 -- The County Foundation (TCF) has received a $29,966 grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF), which together with a $7,500 donation from a private donor, will support the work of the Vital Signs Food Security Collective on a collaborative project to develop an integrated strategy for addressing food insecurity in Prince Edward County (PEC.)

Peter Fleming Healthy Food Fund Launches
Friends and family gathered at the 2nd Annual Sophiasburg Picnic to launch the Peter Fleming Healthy Food Fund which will be managed by The County Foundation. August 9th would have been Peter's birthday. However, the one of the driving forces behind the 1st picnic, Slow Food PEC and many other initiatives passed away last Spring. The Fund will start granting in late 2017 or 2018. More details to come.
