PEC Built Heritage Fund helps Picton United Church 'Save The Day'
The PEC Built Heritage Fund announced that the 2017 'Save The Day' Grant Recipient is The Stained Glass Window Restoration project at the Picton United Church. The fund announced a $5,000 contribution. The announcement was made at the Two Days About Yesterday event where they had a Booth.
The 2017 Christmas House Tour will take place on the weekend of December 2/3. More details to come.

$71,800 OTF Grant Makes the Grade for the County Community Foundation
On Wednesday, local MPP Todd Smith met with representatives from the County Community Foundation (CCF) to officially congratulate them on receiving a $71,800 Collective Impact grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation earlier this year. CCF is using its grant to support the continuing work of the Vital Signs Learning Collective on its collaborative project, as 20 local organizations are also involved with the support of the Laidlaw Foundation, to enhance opportunities and engage more youth in the County in a meaningful way.

CCF Adds two new Bursaries for PECI Students
Donor Bill Roberts is pleased to announce, along with Prince Edward Collegiate Institute and the County Community Foundation, two new bursaries for PECI students. COUNTY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION (CCF) ANNOUNCES MORE THAN $50,000 IN GRANTS
FROM 3 SEPERATE FUNDS CREATING MORE THAN $85,000 IN 10 LOCAL PROJECTS
Grants from the PEC Fund, the Community Justice Fund, and The Canada 150 Fund, a Celebration of Canada’s 150th and of Youth in Our Community, will support Vital Signs priorities in Food Security, Transportation and Learning.
With these grants, the CCF continues its annual granting to PEC organizations. Since the inception, the CCF has made grants of $300,000 and participated in an additional $200,000 in grants back to the community.
